Arielle grew up in Indianapolis, IN. Over her life, she has owned many animals, including various insects, fish, lizards, a frog, rabbits, dogs, and horses. The list goes on when including animals who’s care she has been responsible for, which is where her passion lies. She has been involved in animal husbandry for 14 years (since age 12). Between raising rabbits, managing other people’s farms, and caring for racehorses she has learned a lot.
Arielle has spent over half her life training dogs and horses. She started with their family dog, a 9-year-old King Charles Cavalier Spaniel, who she taught agility. By age 15 she was training pets for other people. She was an active member of 4-H through graduation. Next, she received a scholarship from Purdue University for all her volunteer hours in agricultural education through 4-H and Conner Prairie.
After spending time in KY working with thoroughbreds, she found herself back in Indianapolis. Shortly after Arielle married her husband Nate. In marrying Nate, she gained a bonus child Cooper (Dec ’09). They have 3 children together; Isaac (Nov. ’14), Athena (Aug. ’17), and Zachary (due Oct. ’18).
Arielle enjoys spending time with her family, outdoor activities, and gardening. She also, of course, enjoys caring for her pets; a Bearded Dragon named ‘Allie Gator’, Kermit-The-Dog a Vizsla, and 2 mix breed dogs Roxy and Muddles. She is glad to be a part of the wonderful team at Allisonville Animal Hospital. Where everyone is focused on the best animal care and quality pet/owner relationships.
